To what stars will time lie to,
With immortal man
The truth to be?

While beggars watch
From perilous seats,
Soon to be kings and queens.

And the sea stands still,
Its breath held tight
As man begins to fight.

The skies turn dark,
The sun is gone
Into the mirror's life.

So what does time lie to
If man immortal truly be?
For none shall falsify,
Nor reality hide,
